Short Summary
According to CAA (25 September 10), on September 20, 2010, public security officers in Yucheng county, Shangqiu prefecture, Henan province took into custody seven Protestants who tried to enter the Xuchang Municipal Intermediate People's Court during the trial of Protestants Gao Jianli and Liu Yunhua. All unregistered Protestants, they are pastor Zhang Mingxuan, his wife Xie Fenglan, and Yucheng Protestants Li Yuxia (Gao's wife), Hua Cuiying, Liu Fulan, Ma Ke'ai, and Liu Sen (Liu Yunhua's son). Authorities reportedly released Zhang, Xie, Ma, and Liu Sen soon thereafter. According to September 20 administrative punishment orders via CAA (26 September 10), the Yucheng PSB determined that Li, Hua, and Liu Fulan belonged to a banned Protestant group and ordered each to serve 15 days of administrative detention at the Yucheng County Administrative Detention Center, beginning on September 20, for violating Art. 27(1) of the Public Security Administration Punishment Law. According to CAA (7 October 10), authorities released all three after they served the administrative detentions.
